One of the main objectives of PEECA is to conduct trainings, workshops and seminars for the capacity building of the relevant stakeholders and the masses. PEECA is conducting workshops, seminars and symposium in every nook and corner of Punjab to make stakeholders aware of their responsibilities in energy conservation.
PEECA will impart training to public and private sector for awareness and policy guidelines & standards.
For this purpose, PEECA conducted several workshops and seminars in different cities across Punjab (Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan) on Energy Efficiency and Conservation and Energy Conservation Building Codes.
PEECA also intends to train people from diversified organizations from corporate sector and academia in the area of Energy Efficiency & Conservation. PEECA has successfully launched an intern program through which applicants from diversified fields (Engineering, Management, Finance, Law, IT, Energy related fields and HR) will gain experience in their relevant fields. Numerous interns have already gained experience through PEECA and are currently working in different organizations.
PEECA also believes in “in house” training of its employees for their capacity building in their particular departments and specifically in Energy Efficiency & Conservation.
